Hi chrystal, I miscarried last week, I was just under 5 weeks pregnant. My bleeding lasted the same as a regular period and my doctor told me we could start trying again right away.

My doctor also told me to go back for another blood test so they can check the hcg levels and make sure it's all going back to normal, so i'm going next thursday.

Maybe you could do the same, get a blood test, just to see where your body's at?

thank you for responding I only spotted for less then 24 hrs and the Dr. Said I would have a heavy period right after and its been 3 weeks and I havent bleed at all I dont know what to do

My suggestion would be to go back to the doctor. My doctor was going to get me to have an ultrasound if I didn't start bleeding last weekend, but I did so now i'm just going for the blood test.

How did you find out you were going to miscarry? I had 2 blood tests, about five days apart and my hcg only went from 22 to 29, there was no hope that my baby would make it. I think this next blood test is to make sure the hcg levels are all the way down, to make sure the miscarriage was complete. Sometimes, if it's not complete your body will still think it's pregnant and things get stalled, and then there is also the risk of infection.

Do you have a follow up app't with your doctor?

I never made it to the doctor my first apointment was on tuesday and I had to go to the hospital on the sunday 3 days b4 my apointment I only had that one blood test and the number was only 8 thats all the Dr. At the hospital said he told me there was no need to have a dnc done bcuz it was prolly a malfunction at conception

Same with me, no d&c needed cause it happened so early. Still seems weird that you only bleed for a day though... I only miscarried last weekend, so I wouldn't expect my period for another 3 weeks. I am charting my temps and cm so i'm pretty sure that my body has reset itself cause my temps were low, but today I had signs of ovulation, which seems really early but i'll know better when I take my temp tomorrow.

I'd still go back to the doc, if they said you should have had a heavy bleeding and you didn't maybe get it checked out? I would, but i'm kind of obsessive about that kind of stuff

That is what is confusing me I wish I knew what was going on with my body since I have yet to have a period my doctor doesnt deliver babies so I have to go between 5 Dr. That might be on call when I go into labor so would I just go to the hospital to get another blood test done ...And the level would be at zero if my body has restarted right?

My last menstrual period was MARCH 28. I found out I was pregnant APRIL 20. I miscarried MAY 5th. The miscarriage was a horrible feeling. I had TERRIBLE cramps since the second I woke up. I didnt see blood until about 4 hours later and the cramps only got worse. I went to the ER where they did multiple tests and ultrasound also, vaginal and on the belly. I bled for about 4 days. My husband and I continued to go to the OBGYN to monitor my hcg level and make sure it was down to 0(to make sure I didnt need surgery to remove). They say that when your level is back at 0 that you ovulate so we tried for a baby again and believe it or not IM PREGNANT! I am 6 weeks now. I never had a period between the miscarriage and being pregnant again. I probably got pregnant again the second week in May. I hope everything goes alright for you.

this isnt normal has been bleeding for 6to 7 days. the she says i think i am about to misscarry. since she is a li over a month preg with twins. she says she had about a 2 inch clot come out of her then a few hours later another 2 inch clot come out of her. she asks me what do you think is wrong? I say i am not sure. I said it sound like you are having a period. or you could have miscarried. But she dont want yo believe she said the told her that you can have a period while you are pregant. i said i anot sure at that but why would have a period and release and egg if you are pregnant. Then today she says she cant feel her lower half of her body she fell to the ground. They say she is dehydrated and she has the flu. she says she has been loosing weight. but its from not eating. i am thinking you do not starve yourself while you are preganant and i know she know it. so she says the medics told her her chances of having a stoke was high. so here is a list of meds the medics gave her

That what they put her on. I dont see this getting anywhere. All my close freinds are saying this isnt right. you need time to implant and pregnacy isnt in 4 days. i mean the more i tell them the more they think the situation isnt right. So i dont know. I told her you have to eat to make them survive if you dont you will loose them if she hasnt already.But weeks before this she says she was bleeding brown then red ant it continues for 6 days. She had her last period on April 20-21 she didnt have a may period at all. we had sex on the day before her period witch was may 20th then 4 days later she says she is pregnant. I never knew it can happen that fast. And the killing part is that i cant get her to show me what they did at the docs office. she tell me the stick something in her vagina area and she saw that she had twins. but i cant see what they did at all. i ask her to take another test she wont do it she says what you calling me a liar. so my question to all that read why cant i see any of the tests?
