Q: What Are the Usual Ages?

I heard that boys should be already almost completely clean from acne by the time they are 19, and till the early 20s they may see some outbreaks here and there. But if you are acne is still the same even if you are already 18,19,20 etc. Then you are stuck. Is that true?

It's really different for everyone.. Some people don't clear up until their early 20s. It all depends on the person and their development.

Well i'm 20 and I still have pretty severe acne. I will tell you now that it is not just going to go away at a certain age. I had that impression and it just got worse and worse. No i'm doing something. I changed my diet from almost all fast food to protein carbs vegtables and fruits. I purchased some black soap from nasabb which from the few days that I have used it (i just recieved it not long ago) it is doing a tremendous job. It is taking a lot of the redness out, and the acne is definatly going away. My skin is softer and just looks nicer. Take care of your skin internally and externally is the best thing I can say. It's not just going to go away. There is something called adult acne. It can be controlled. You just have to work with it.

That I know....Severe acne (cystic acne) doesn't go away after puberty but may stay till you are like 40! I just meant the other degrees of acne except cystic.

I get regular acne at 26.. So I don't think there's an age for any type.

I am 19 and I can say that I still have ance not as bad when I was in high school but its still there.

For me I changed what I eat, such as drinking more and more water (i drink about 64 oz. A day which is alot), eating healthier than eating fast food(which may be bad for your skin and weight).

Thats all I can say to maybe help you.
