It took me 4 months, I wasn't tryin' nor was I preventing pregnancy.

Ok, I also have a question that my sister would like to ask yall.

My sister is trying to concieve and she has had sex 11 times with her husband in a 3 month frame. I told her thats not enough and plus she might not be having sex on her fertile days but I also reassured her that pregnancy doesn't happen everytime you have sex on your fertile days, it takes time and she is getting impatient. She is 19 and healthy and she thinks just becuz she ain't pregnant yet that she is infertile. Please leave her some comforting words and let her kno the facts!

Thanks! Wink

Well I had unprotected sex for 3 years until I got pregnant (only 1 partner tho)
unless you have been actively trying to concive for about a year then most docs won't consider a fertility problem (unless you have known problems already like pcos)
if she has a nearly "normal" cycle the best thing would be to have sex every other day from cycle day 10 onwards. Every day can result in a lower sperm count

Admittedly I wasn't actively trying to conceive - just not preventing, but it was still 3 years all the same.

Apparently you are more fertile after birth or miscarriage - don't know personally, never tried but I have heard a lot of people say it.

6 Months
It took my husband and I about six months. I guess it took so long for my body to adjust to getting off b/c pills.
Good luck! Smile

I'm in kia's boat it took me a little over 3 years to concieve. I wasn't trying nor stopping. But after my 19 months old twins I am preggers already again, so maybe you are more fertile after a birth??

I actually had a very similar experience, not to scare no one. But I was tring to get pregnant for the longest time and I thought I wa infertile, but it turned out to be the oposite. He was! Maybe you should both get checked out.
