Boils
Dear letterz,

i had quite a bad problems with pimples and boils when I was a teenager, I went to a dermatologist and they prescribed me with a 3 month course of roaccutane and it cleared it up in about 3 days, I am 29 now and still don't get any pimples or boils. I must warn you though, roaccutane is under the spotlight and it is claimed by medical experts that it causes all kinds of side effects that can last up to 15 years. I do suffer from anxiety which I take medication for, but I honestly couldn't tell you whether it is caused due to taking roaccutane. Talk to a dermatologist, there is probably something a lot safer that you can take to treat boils now days.

Good luck,

.::suzy::.

Boils
If the boils outbreak isn't too serious, try using aloe vera plant. Simply cut off one of the leaves, slice it long ways, and use the juice and spread it over the boils a few times a day. It is especially helpful if you do it at the very beginning of an outbreak before it gets serious.

I had a bad outbreak of boils earlier this year. I got about 8 or 9 of them in a couple of months time, similar to the girl that started this post. They were very painful, and I would get 2 or 3 of them at a time. Squeeze one and another would pop up a few days later. I went to the doctor and they gave me an antibiotic, which did not work. Kept getting them. Went to the doctor again about a week and a half later, gave me another antibiotic (that cost $120 bucks!!) and that didn't work either. All the doctor was saying was that I had a deficiency and needed to eat better, etc. After that medication not working I was fed up and in pain. My dad, a purveyor of natural remedies, told me about the aloe vera. I was skeptical, but my god if it did not work. I was totally in awe. All the money I wasted on medication and doctor's visits, not to mention the pain.

As a side note, I got a stye in my eye right before this whole ordeal started, so I don't know if there is a link. Unfortunatly, I guess my health is still poor because I did get another boil recently, and didn't get to use the aloe vera in time before it swelled up pretty bad. Using aloe now, and it is helping. Found a link online of this all natural cream called biolanyn, supposed to help with a lot of skin disorders, even scarring.

Ahhhhh and they are red, sore and painful as hell and ive taking many pills and creams that work to a degree. The doctors are full of caca if you ask me and ive learned alot online and I will try the honey wet compresses! I get my boills around the cheek bone and chin and nose area and they look so bright and red and me being light skinned does not help either.

Alot of people said it might be stress but iam a cool happy type guy so I just dont, I thought maybe it was cause iam still growing and I never had anything like this when I was younger so now its happening.

Thanks

Is there a serious problem w/boils going around
I have done a little research and @ the same time it seems I go to my docs. For a boil (or MRSA or Furunculosis or the frecnch disease is what one doc. called it) there seems to be other people there w/ similar problems i.e. boils.
I am a clean person, I do not have diabetes, I am not a drug addict. I do drink lots of soda. but even when I stop drinking soda I still get them.
I want to know is anyone else seeming to spread these "evil puss devils" or am I just being paranoid.
My first boil was about 3-4 yrs. ago. and the same time my sister had a friend w/ boils. Then my sister gets them then her man then me and my man and now my son, plus friends, and strangers?
I am very curious to know is there a immunization to this?
and if there is anything the government or CDC is doing to prevent this?
If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
And what I have heard is Turmeric (indian spice) seems to help out breaks.
And OLD school antibiotics like sulfa helps. no antibiotics that end with cillan i.e. penacilan, amoxacillan.
And do not squeeze any that are in your nose or around your mouth.
Everyone says different things, and I will let you know what works, so far heat has been the best for pain.

Boils Boils Boils, so many I can't get a break
I am a younger female, 20 to be exact. I have had nearly 13 boils in 2 1/2 months. I've visited my doctor who told me that it was from shaving (and gave me anti biotics that DID NOT WORK) but suddenly they started showing up WORSE than ever in areas where I never shave because I don't need to, such as, the inside of my thigh(this one was about the size of a grapefruit under my skin and it sectioned into two seperate boils with one head) I also got a boil on the skin that is between my anal area and my vaginal area...this one resulted in NO SLEEP and tons of pain, and one that was on my butt and one on my side. The boils started off slow, one at a time, but became worse VERY FAST and they are showing up closer together. I now get 3 4 even 5 at a time that are all in different stages, so as soon as the worst of it is over with one I'm already cringing over the next one in line. I'm so tired of them. I'm BROKE and can't afford a million doctors visits, can't afford meds, and I am DESPERATE to be done with this nightmare. I do hot compresses, I've done green tea bags, I was even in so much pain that I've sat in 110 degree water with a sharp knife and finally just put the tip of it through the head to make it bust. HELP PLEASE

hi, i'm so sorry you are suffering like this but i can & will help you to fix this so it will never cause you problems like this. there is quite a bit that we need to cover & you have the choice to communicate hear or via ehealths private message system do you know how to use this. My wife has been through this also & doctors lanced it, but we discovered that lancing it is just like putting a bandaid on it, useless. the reason you are getting these is because your body is not getting rid of the toxins that are building up in your system.
This message is not only for you painfullydesperate but for any one who wants to know how to take control of ones own health, we are willing to help all as much as possible with the information that we have learned about health that doctors won't tell us. you don't have to rely on drugs & high expense to have good health. you can learn this for yourself & control & fix it with nutrition (which we need anyway).
i'm here waiting to help!
God bless all!

irritating boils
Hello all... I'm a 23 year old male and I to suffer from this evil irritation. I first got a boil right on my inner thigh when I was a teen... was told that this was common and that everyone can get them. i am very clean and active... yet i am overweight which could lead to this problem idk tho.
Now that I am older... i still get these irritating boils and they always occur now on my buttocks around 4 times a year... I want these to stop occurin that many times...or stop them from ever reoccurrin again.
I did read that this powder Turmeric is a #1 remedy to this outbreak... i would appreciate all feedback and tips please.
