Hello ladies and gentlemen...I will tell you about myself later (i am the clarebear ladybrannon writes about) but as I am currently in a hurry to get my slacker butt to work I have one question, or maybe one question in parts.

Who has had lupron in conjunction with cytoxan, what does it do, what are its side-effects and what should I expect?

I know it is being researched to protect the ovaries while we are doing chemo, and in conjunction with that save our estrogen (sort of) and help us save our bones or something like that.

I have a neighbor who used lupron but, um, it was for prostate cancer not lupus so I don't know if the side-effects would exactly be the same.
