When I got off my birth control I also bled for a short couple of days nothing heavy like. I don't know about ovulation but I didn't start my next period for almost a month and a half after that and even then I was late by almost a week for about 3 months after. It finally settled down. I would just say wait till your next period that way you may be able to judge better on when your ovulating. But if your activly trying having sex every day couldnt hurt.

i've actually had a friend of mine get off the birth control she was on it for a couple of years and she had her period as soon as she got off and didn't get another one for a year. Needless to say after that she got pregnant right away. I guess every body adjusts differently.
