Mouth Redness And Gum Soreness Posted: 09-05-04 21:16pm
Daughter has been to doctor 3 times and
still no one has provided the right
treatment! First time, the diagnosis was
yeast infection from taking antibiotic, so
nystatin prescribed to place on mouth.
Second time, another topical cream
prescribed. Third time, we went to
dermotologist, but she ended up seeing
physcian assistant! Guess what? Another
topical cream prescribed! Now, she is
getting it again, but the soreness has
gone inside the mouth and is open sore.
Fyi she wears retainer at night, and I
suggested putting it in mouthwash to kill
any bacteria. Any ideas? I have told
her to take acidolphilis to maybe give her
some "good" bacteria. Any help or
suggestions appreciated. The doctors
sure haven't helped.

Mouth sores or apthous could occur due to
deficiency of vitamin b or could be due to
insufficient assimilation of the
vitamins.
Homeopathic medicine has good remedies
like merc sol,, ars.Alb, ac.Nit etc. To
see that the sores subside and the
assimilation improves.

Merc sol,, ars.Alb, ac.Nit
i copied and pasted the suggested
medicines. However, are these
abbreviations? What are they? Thanks
for suggestions. I will insist she be
more faithful with her vitamins and will
send her vitamin b.

It could maybe be trench mouth, in which
case she would probably need an
antibiotic. Have her do salt water
rinses several times a day. Trench mouth
comes from an over production of bacteria
in the mouth.

You can search for mercurius solubilis,
arsenicum album, acidum nitricum at any of
the homeopathic pharmacies.
