Q: Tia?

I'm a 60 year old male, I have been diagnosed with vasculitus mostly affecting my organs. Last monday I work up normally, fed the cat and dog and made a cup of tea, then went to read my email. I found that I couldn't read the words at all, when I tried to pronounce then out loud it came out as s's or all hissing sounds. This persisted for about 1/2 hour.
45 minutes later my wife awoke and I told her what had happened, I was reading and speaking normally.
My doctor confirmed it was a tia but seemed unconcerned about the elevated risk of stroke. Is my risk higher now because of the tia?
Thank you.

My husband has suffered several tia,s over the last 2 years,we have a very good doctor and there is a risk of
another stroke.
He now has bad vision
short term memory loss
can't concentrate on anything
lost his confidence.
All these upset him a lot,but I say take one day at a time.

Risk of Tia
Hi.
The vasculitis might be the risk of tia, I suppose.
I've heard that vasculitis may make artery narrow, dose not?

Take care
