Hi, i'm 17 ,5'1 and I weigh about 240lbs. I would like to get gastric bypass surgery but I need help finding a doctor in arkansas who will perform this surgery on teens.I know I am eligable for the surgery.I have a bmi over over 40.I don't want to do this for popularity reasons or anything like that . I want to do this for myself, for my heath. I know this consists of many risks but I also know that it can help to prevent the risks that I may face as an obese adult. If you could help me out in finding a doctor in arkansas that will perform this surgery on me I would be so very thankfull. Please e-mail me any information u have.

Thank you-

i believe you want to do this for other than popularity. I have been looking into it also and i'm having trouble finding insurance to cover it. I am 29 my bmi is 49.4. I am a wife and mother of two. I understand the limitations of being obese. I am 5'2" 275 lbs. I have battled my weight all my life. Hopefully you won't have too. Good luck hun!
