Ok ya`ll I am so frustrated trying to put kaelyn on a schedule. Right now her days are pretty random but I am trying to get her to have atleast some type of routine, like get up , stay up for a lil while take a nap, wake up for a while take another nap then stay up and then go to sleep (she also eats every 3 hours except when she goes to sleep [usually by 12 am] and then she will sleep till 7am without eating) does anyone have any ideas on how to go about this?? Its so frustrating bcuz she just isn't having it lol also she is already on 6 oz. Doc says she should be on about 4 but she has been on 6 since last week and she weighs 13 pounds, what do u all think? My mom told me to bump it down to 5 but I tried and its like taking drugs from an addict Shocked if anyone can help i'd appreciate it Exclamation Exclamation by the way she is 8w1d

Don't wprry about it hun! I know everyone kept telling me to put josh on a schedule, but that is like telling the sun to quit shining! They will sleep when they want, and eat when they want. If you try to keep them awake it just makes you both miserable. Also, don't worry about the fod! Give her as much as she wants! You cannot limit how much your baby eats. That is torture. She is fine. Josh was 16 pounds and 5 ounces at 2 months, and the doctor never told me not to feed him so much. She just told me to start him on cereal at 3 months. Josh has been taking 6 ounces since he was about 2 months. Now he takes 7-8 if he has no solids. But don't worry about it hun! All I can say is, try to wake up about the same time every day, feed her, then play a little, then rock her till she falls asleep. Thats what josh does everyday! She'll get the hang of it! Don't worry!
