Another Poem I Wrote Posted: 09-03-04 22:16pm
Teardrop falls from the bright blue eyes
of a girl confused and dazed
this tear is like no other, though
with what its filled she's completely
amazed
baby clothes, and dirty looks
are what inhabits this tear
but how can she dispise, yet love
this baby she holds so dear
all because she was so young
now people turn their backs
they dont give her the time of day
yet they don't even know the facts
she loves this baby with all she's got
even if thats not too much
dreaming of the day her gift will arrive
and she can feel his precious touch
the teardrop descends toward the floor
the girl watches it fall
she doesnt care what people think
shes received the greatest gift of all
