Q: Measurement's????

Hello, does anyone know if ultrasound measurement's can be off by 5-7 day's?? My last ultrasound said that I was exactly 9week's when if I got pregnant when I "know" I did the baby's measurement's should have been almost 10week's?? Can baby's be smaller than normal and isn't every baby different? And does this mean that my due date could be off by a week? I am really confused, this is my first. Do the doctor's go by "exact" measurement's?? They told me that my last period was nothing to go by anymore, only the baby's measurement's would be more accurate in dating the pregnancy? In my case my baby is measuring a week smaller than what it should be? Is this normal?? I am really really confused, does anyone have any type of help or advice to offer???

You didn't neccesarily get pregnant that day you had sex!
Sperm can survive in the uterus for upto around 5 days, just chilling and hanging out for the odd egg to pass their way.

So you could have had sex on monday and gotten pregnant on thursday Exclamation

hope this helps Wink

Hi....
Well I added the 5 day's and it still dosen't make sense....We were together on the 9-10th and the ultrasound is showing time of conception around the 18th..That means his sperm would have lived 8 day's!!! If I give or take the 5day's then it would make sense..I noticed on my ultrasound the at the bottom it said /- 5 day's, and giving that, conception would have been around the 14th which would make sense. I was just worried about the baby being small for week's pregnant. I am just un-sure on how to understand everything, I have read alot of stuff, and also that sperm can live up to 7-day's!! I was just wondering about ultrasound's and them being a little wrong sometimes??
