I have been on depo for the last 2 yrs and
about 3 months ago got off. Last month I
got my first period and had unprotected
sex with my boyfriednd. I am currently
late about 9 days. I also recently got
sick and the doctor had put me on
steroids. I took at test the day I was
supposed to get my period and it came up
negative. I am wondering if the steroids
has anything to do with my period being
late or if I am possibly pregant.
Please help.

This is a confusing situation...It could
be either one...Have you taken another
test since the last one....I think you
should take another one...It has been 9
days and I don't the steroids would delay
your period that long...Let us know what
happends......

I would have your Dr. Do a blood test for
you. Also, sometimes after coming off
birth control, your periods can take up to
six months to regulate themselves. Take
another test, then go in for blood work.
