Q: How Soon Can I Tell If I Am Pregnant?

I was with my x-husband for 2 days straight having unprotected intercourse. Long story... Anyway, my last period was 2 days prior to that. How soon can I tell if I may be pregnant or is it too soon to tell anything? My friends tell me that a week after your period you cannot get pregnant because your mentrual sterilizes all the eggs. Is this true?

Ummm, no! Of course you can get pregnant then. However, most people don't. I think I got pregnant within the week after my period ending. People can get pregnant during their period too. I would wait to test until you miss a period though if you think you may be pregnant.
