I would like you to think before you vote.

I have had a termination.

Mine was when I was 18 and the victim of date rape. I did not know anything had happened until I found out I was pregnant.

So here is the point to consider, is abortion ever acceptable?

Firstly I want to say i'm sorry that happened to you-it angers me so much to even hear the word rape.I cannot imagine going through that.I can understand why people have abortions after rape with the reasoning being that it'd be so painful to have a baby who would just remind you so much of what you went through.Anyone who says rape victims shouldnt be offered abortions are just cruel.I do however personally prefer the option of adoption. In my personal view I dont agree with abortion if the childs mentally/physically handicapped but then since ive never been in that situation I can never 100% say because I simply dont know how i'd feel.
In the case of using abortion as birth control we'll that seriosuly starts me off Evil or
Very Mad there's nothing worse then pathetic little girls who cannot be arsed to use birth control so they just go & have an abortion instead Evil or
Very Mad that makes me mad

Personally, I think abortion is acceptable up to 12 weeks. Whether it be because of any reason. It's your choice.

Thats your opinion and thats ok, skye_baby but I cannot agree with you.

I won't in this case tell you your opinion is wrong becasue I asked for your opinion and it is just that, your opinion, but thanks for sharing in a reasonable manner and I can see why you say upto 12 weeks.

I will ask though, do you think it is acceptable to not use contraception, just because if you do get pregnant, you could get an abortion?

To anyone else reading this - please do not slate anyone personally for giving their opinion - thanks girls.

In a case where contraceptives aren't use because a female knows that she has the choice of abortion, I think that is the same as pre-meditated homicide. I don't approve of it in that case.
