Hi I am new to this forum and after reading all of your posts I felt compelled to add my two cents.
I have had lower back pain and sciatica or years. Doing exercises actually helps. I used to be a ski patroller but finally gave it up (too old ha ha ha). Just can't compete with the teens anymore.
I have to sit a lot on the computer and after an all day session I found that 5 minutes of doing strech exercises is just awesome.
Before the ski season arrives (every year) I actually do a series of exercises by following a video program I bought years ago when I had double sided acl (on the last day of skiing - putting in over 45 days that season). I am not sure that the series is still available but I find it awesome. It is called: 8 mins abs, 8 mins stretch, 8 min arms, 8 min legs, 8 min buns (and your buns will be burning).
