In my opinion, yes it is possible. If you think you're pregnant and are getting negatives with hpt i'd go to a doctor for a blood test. I wanted to know as soon as possible so I could be sure I was giving the best possible care to myself & my baby, I figure the longer you wait the longer you're going without proper care.
Good luck!

Thanks for your response, has this ever happened to anyone? I am starting to gain weight and in my lower abdomin I am feeling little pain very light. My brests are still hurting, but I have had my period, but I still feel pregnant. I think this same thing happened with my 5 year old

Yes its happened to several of the girls who are regulars in the teen pregnancy forum. I'd take silver's advice and get a blood test done.

The same thing happened to me except I did not have my period. It took eight weeks for a hpt to register a very faint positive for me. Just take care of yourself as if you are until you find out for sure.
good luck,
