Help me. I have attempted oral sex with my boyfriend, and even though I want to do it, after a few seconds, my jaw starts hurting so bad that I cant finish, and even though he tries to comfort me, it just makes me feel bad that I cant do this one thing for him. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thankyou

Oral sex is, pardon the pun, an acquired taste. Stop thinking of it as something you need to "finish", and just see it as part of the sensual foreplay. Plan on doing it only for a few seconds, use your hands, lick it, etc. You couldn't run a marathon the first time you put on your nikes, could you?

Would you feel bad if you couldn't run in a race with a badly arthritic knee? Don't feel bad about that either, I know its hard, but its not your fault.

mandy, you should see a massage therapist about your tmj issues. she can help you work the problem out of your jaw muscles and can also show you how to work it yourself and give you exercises to do that will help you with this.

i agree with the others here who are saying that it's not that important to "finish" the task...but for your overall health (in addition to this) i still think you should see a massage therapist.

Just use your tongue and lick. Keep your had around the base at all times and alternate between licking and licking while moving your hand up and down the shaft.

I had this same problem when I had TMJ. I could last at least a few minutes, but if it's not long enough and you really want to do this, get him close to orgasm first and then finish with your mouth.

If you "click" your jaw, you really need to stop clicking it, though it is very difficult to break the habit. This will sometimes fix the problem, if not, you might want to see a dentist to check your occlusion, or examine the way your teeth contact when you close your mouth: this could cause the jaw muscles to be in a constant state of tension, putting pressure on the joint. There are other treatments including massage, ice, etc. Check the web sites if these ideas don't work.

I have this problem also. I suffer with TMJ. Atleast your man comforts you, my man gets pissed if I take my mouth off to use my hands. I wish he got TMJ one time to show him how painful it is!!!!
