Hi I was diagnosed with epilepsy 6 years
ago, and would love to hear anyone elses
stories about there experiences with
epilepsy.
I had my first seizure as I was driving
home from work, I crashed my car and was
very lucky that I caused no harm to myself
or anyone else. I dont remember anything
what happened, just when I woke up from my
seizure, and found that I was lucky to be
alive. I was taken to hospital and I
woke up three days later, after having
another 4 seizures, a brain scan and my
family was a total mess. I am now on a
medication called lamotrigne which I take
100mg per day. Ive been free from
seizures for 6 years all is fine now.
Please tell me all about your stories with
epilepsy, how you coped with coming to
terms with it, medication and your like
