Well, I don't know if you mean from pregnancy or not.
I am not pregnant nor have I ever been, but my ribs hurt all of the time. I can cough, sneeze or just laugh and knock them out of place. That hurts like heck! Ugh, and you cannot do anything about it except wait until they pop back in.

Yeah, it sucks! Does it make it hard to breath? That is the worst!

Yes! Its soooo annoying! I keep trying to sit up really straight to make it stop hurting but then I get tired and lean back and it hurts again. Its an endless cycle of pain. Haha

My physical therapist gave me this little "excercise" that may help.
You take a crazy deep breath. Then you blow it out as slowly as you can. I mean, blow it all out! You will feel like you have to take a breath when you still have a ton to blow out, but stick with it. It is suppose to get out the bad air that can hang around in your lungs for years and expand your lungs so it is easier to breath. I think it is suppose to help with the pain too.
Anyway, do it a bunch of times but take a break and breath normally in between.

Ribs Hurting
I have dealt with my ribs hurting for a long time too the point of it hurts to to even function, got no sleep, couldnt even move much less want to breathe. I finallly went to the doctor over a year ago for them. I have chronic inflamation of the rib bones which could lead to arthritis eventually. They had me on 200mg of celebrex a day and 500mg robaxin at night but now I cant take cause om preggers and so I just get to suffer horribly until I have this baby and can go back on my meds. Go see your doctor and see what they say. Dahlia and baby surprise!!
