Well I have the same problem to I went to a derm they toled me its from the sun or it also could be hormons if your a women that could be a problem spots are not cancer cancer has slight raised surface or even a mole could be cancer but if it isnt raised its probabaly nonthing but disscoloration of the skin I cover mine up with cover up because I have it right above my lip and people can notice it so dont worry but get it checked out cuz they have many skin creams that can cure that problem
