So there is a lot written about girls who don't take their pills on time, what exactly does that mean? Let's say the girl chose to take her pills at 3:00pm everyday. What happens if she takes some pills at 2:30pm or 3:30pm on other days? Or 3:05pm, 3:25pm? What is the leeway there?

Also, I have been on alesse for 1 month already and am now on my 2nd pack of pills, and I am wondering when is it okay for my boyfriend to ejaculate inside me? I have been scared that it isn't okay for him to yet, so we have been using the withdrawal method. I take my pills on time everyday, the latest i've ever been is 1 hr behind schedule. Is that considered late?

A half an hour difference won't effect the pill. You're supposed to take it within two hours of when you usually take in. So if you take it at 3:00, you could take it at 1 somedays or 5:00 others though I wouldn't do one extrememe or the other all the time. With a combined oral contraceptive I believe past 12 hours of the normal time is 'late' and with a pop pill (progesterone only) then 2 hours is late. Though i'm not positive of that.

I'd say it's safe for him to ejaculate in you now. The pill has fgull effectiveness after the first week. Some people say after a month or three months but I say a week b/c that's what every doctor i've ever known told me.

By the way, can I ask you how you like alesse? I'm starting it at the end of the pack i'mon and want to know if people had a good experience or not. Hav eyou had any bad side effects?

It's been okay so far with alesse. Ive never tried any other bc pill though and I find I havent ballooned up at all even though my exercise level has gone down to almost nothing. I do get tenderness in my breasts sometimes and its a pain.. And when I first started the pills I felt a lil dizzy right after,, but that stopped shortly after.
