I've really screwed up. Exactly one week ago from today my gf and I had sex for the first time. I used a condom and used the "pull out" method. But this is where it gets complicated, she was supposed to have her period the week befor we had sex, but she didnt. She said its normal for her to be a week late, but now she's two weeks late and we're really scared. We're both only 15 and would be grounded for the rest of our lives if she did turn out to be pregnant(seriously)! Please tell me she's just late because it was her first time. Crying or Very sad

Did you wear the condom the entire time? Or did you put it on after you already starting having sex? If you wore the condom the entire time and it didn't break or anything, then she is most likely not pregnant.. Is she on any medications or hormones or anything? Stress can also cause a period to be late or missed...

Dear johnny,

i got my first period at 13 but it never became regular until I was 16 years of age. Does she ever have regular periods normally ? If you wore a condom and your sure it never broke then she won't be pregnant. I mean you wore a condom and pulled out when you came, so it would have to be a miracle for your sperm to get through the rubber. If you are both concerned about it, there are places you can go together and get a pregnancy test or simply buy a test from the supermarket or chemist, that is the only way to know for sure and put your mind at ease. In the meantime, maybe you could suggest she starts a course of birth control pills now that you are both sexually active. By the way, good on you for using a condom and also for coming here and seeking help. You sound very responsible, your girlfriend is lucky to have a caring person like you in her life.

Regards,

.::suzy::.
