Hi,
i hope I can be some help. I know with my
first child I did a lot of house work and
also pelvic exercises. And my delivery
was very fast four pushes and she was out.
She can do walking as long as she is
comfterable doing it. Don't start of
going really far. Even if it is down the
block and back. Just start off slow and
if she thinks she can do farhter then that
try going back and forth twice. It all
depends on how she is feeling. And with
the intercourse at this point of time it
is going to hurt. Because she is getting
very close to her due date, so that means
the baby is, starting to move down. Which
is going to make that area very sore right
now. So if it is hurting her try to do
something else. But with with the
exercises, with my second child I didn't
do any exercises and it took like 15
pushes to get him out. So the exercises
are good so it makes her pelvis and the
muscles around there stronger. The pelvic
exercises all she has to do is just
tighten up the muscles in her butt, hold
it for ten seconds and then release. (it
feels like you are trying to stop yourself
from peeing. She can try it first in the
bathroom to see if she is doing it right.
While she is going pee, tell her to try
and stop the pee from coming out. If she
does then she is doing it right. That is
how simple that exercises is) she can do
them any where any time. Because no one
can see her doing it. I really hope I was
some assistance to you. Please take care
and I wish you both a fast and safe
delivery!
Not to scare you but sometimes all the
working out and excercises you do will
have nothing to do with delivery. Your
pubic/pelvic bone can not be changed with
any excersise so it really depends on the
womens body, size of child and position of
the baby. My first was face up and took 4
hours to push out my second in 10 pushes
im now with my third and who knows whatg
will happen
good luck
