July 15 is when I got my period for the
last time. I had unprotected sex with
my boyfriend august 14 and still have not
gotten my period. I have taken 3
pregnancy tests and all three came out
negative. Can I still be pregnant???
I will appreciate any comments and
advice.
Thank you...
After you have sex how long do you have to
wait to get a pregnancy test done so the
hormones will show up in the test???

Your periods will probably not be regular
for sometime, maybe even until you get on
birthcontrol. If you've taken tests I
wouldn't worry at all. Just be careful
from now on.

Sometimes girls get negatives and still be
pregnant. You should get a blood test
done.
Sometimes stress delays your period too.
I'd say take another test if it comes back
negative than I suggest you see you take a
blood test.

If your periods are pretty regular, and if
you ovulate when most women do, about 2
weeks prior to menstruation, you probably
aren't pregnant. You probably weren't
ovulating when you had sex, so I think
you're ok. I'd test anyway though.

I don't believe so. Your symptoms may be
coming from changes in horomone levels
after the surgery. Pregnancy symptoms are
very common in women switching birth
control methods or just starting or
stopping birth control for the same
reason: changes in horomones.
