Well I just got back from the clinic, I picked up my referall to go to the hospital for a sonogram ..On the referal it says under symptoms/diagnosis-amniotic band syndrome...So I did some research on what this is about and it is the most upseting thing I have ever had to deal with...

Definition: amniotic band syndrome is a set of congenital malformations ranging from minor constriction rings and lymph edema of the digits to complex, bizarre multiple congenital anomalies that are attributed to amniotic bands that stick, entangle and disrupt fetal parts.

The dr says that the band isnt near the fetus and that the baby is moving normally I have no idea whats going to happen when I go to the hospital but I have experience with complications from when I had my miscarriage they try and sugercoat everything...This is the worst thing that could ever happen to a pregnant woman and it figures it would happen to me... The baby can either be born with missing body parts totally f'd up looking like a massacred corpse..Stillborn,,,,or die a few dayss after birth...If u have this syndrome they offer an abortion because its so horrible... I think this is going to put me in the psych ward of the hospital rather then the maternity ward.

Shayna we are all here for you no matter what happens. I'm sorry you have to go through this. Did your doctor actually diagnose it, or just say that it may be a possibility?

Or it could be just a mild one that won't have any effect on the baby.

Im sorry to hear that, but I sure everything will be ok. When I got an u/s done, they found this thing in the heart and they said its common in babies with downsyndrome, and they offered me an amniocintesis, and an abortion if she did have down syndrome, I turned both down, and said I will deal with w/e god gives me. At my next u/ after that, they told me that they dont know what the spot was, but its gone now. My word of advice~ believe in god, and trust in him that he wont give you anything you cant handle. If dont ever doubt him, everything will be ok.
