Hey all! I'm 7 weeks pregnant, and the jeans that almost fell off of me before I got pregnant are already tight! Is that normal, to be bloating that much already? My first thought was... "oh lord, twins.", because twins run in both mine and james's family. Plus, my symptoms started 1 week after we concieved... What do you guys think?

I got bloated really soon. The best way to find out is soon, with an u/s... Otherwise one twin can hide behind the other. Talk to your doctor about it.

Are you constipated? I was constipated early on, and constipation causes the abdomen to swell. Or it could just be like april said, you may just be bloated. But you may have to wait to get a u/s. From what I have heard, they really can't find twins easily until 10 weeks.

Yeah, I got bigger early too. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Ohh and I forgot to add, that most women have multiples later in life so unless you used fertility pills or something it is not likely that you are having twins. I have a lot of twins on my side, and jon has two sets of twin cousins and his mother is a twin, but we are having just one. Let us know what happens.

Its also common to have multiples if you get pregnant immediately after stopping birth control.

Lol my mom said that I was gonna have twins... I got pregnant right after getting off of birthcontrol. I heard that the earlier you get an u/s the easier it is to find twins, cuz when they are just tiny little beans then you can easily see two embryos and crap.

I got pregnant with my twins when I was 23, and I was still breastfeeding my second son! I was shocked to have gotten pregnant, let alone to find out it was twins! I got big quick, my u/s said I was only 5 weeks. They told me I was big because my son was only 9 months old and my uterous hadn't shrunken all the way yet. They did not tell me however that it was 2 until I was 20 weeks!!! Boy was I shocked, again! and angry! The doc did an u/s in office and didn't tell me it was 2. At 20 weeks, they went back and looked at the 5 wk one and said he should have known!
