Q: Sound of Blood Flow In the Ear?

My 12 year son, for 2 months has been hearing a wind sound, in his left ear only,( up and down), the doctor said he is hearing his blood flowing. Mri showed everything normal? The noise is driving him crazy. Any suggestions. Has anyone else experienced this?

tinnitis?

There are masking devices that play pleasants sounds to cover the tinnitis noise. I'd see an ear doc for that & other possibilities to maybe help.
