I went to my scheduled drs appt today for
my yearly pap and what not, but I had a
questions I thought u ladies mite be able
to anser bc I didint think to answer. Sry
if this is kinda long.
I went to the drs and got asked all the
questions and everything and then she did
the feeling around on my belly and
everything and bbs and then she did the
normal pap, she found some abnormal tissue
but they said not to worry about it until
they do the tests next week. But she had
me do a pregnancy test and everything
anyway just incase. Im like a week late
... I was supposed to start on the 18th
or 19th ... But my mom said it could be
bc of the car accident I was in a lil over
a week ago(on the 15th). The pregnancy
test came back neg but it was a urine test
and ive heard those dont detect as soon.
But when she was doing the actual pap it
hurt I had my first one last yr and it
didnt hurt at all I didnt feel a thing but
this time I wanted to cry ... Almost ...
Not that bad ... But close. And my belly
is still really tender ... Like my lower
abdomen ... And I still have to pee every
couple hours.
My question I guess would be ... Y is my
belly so tender and y did it hurt so bad
if my belly just started hurting like
right around when I was supposed to get my
period and it didnt hurt when I got one
last yr. Oh and could I really be preggy
for some crazy reason even though it was
negative cuz she swore I was preggy until
she got the test back bc my bbs r kinda
sore and my bellys so sore and I gotta go
pee all the time, and my nipples are erect
almost all the time(it bugs me).
Thnx for any help anyone mite have
sry it was so long

I don't think hard nipples are necessarily
a symptom, but the sore belly is what
worries me the most. My belly was really
sore when they did my pap too, and it was
because the tendons, ligaments, and
muscles around my uterus were being
stretched because I was pregnant. Maybe
you are.

What ever the abnormal pap was could be
the cause of the pain you had with it. I
had clymidea and it caused it to hurt
some. I think you are just stressed from
the accadent. Test again later, and see,
but I think you will be ok.

Yeah, it was at my first appointment at
about 10 weeks. I already knew it, I had
an emergency ultrasound at 6 weeks due to
some abdominal pain, same kind that
occurred during the pap. It hurt when I
moved. It hurt to twist my body, like
turning over in bed, and it killllled when
she pushed on my belly. My pain was
immediatly to the left of my right hip
bone. She told me it was normal, that it
was the tendons attached to my uterus
stretching. Everybody gets it.

Yes theres a very good chance I could be
pregnant.
Thats exactly what I feel like/it felt
like. It hurts to roll over it hurts to
twist and turn and to bend over and the
pain is right inside my hip bones and
theres some in my mid back too. And when
I push on my belly aside from it hurting
like hell it makes me feel like I wanna
throw up. But my boobs havent gotten any
bigger really that ive noticed and they
arent all that sore either. I just eat a
ton and go to the bathroom a ton and am
awfully tired and winded when I do almost
anything.
Thanks for ur input but id really like to
talk more

Well, pregnancy is possible.
But, assuming you are not it could be
other things. First of all, I am really
confused as to how she could tell you that
your pap was abnormal before getting the
results. The reason they send the tests
away is to determine this. Now, she
could determine if you have bv or a yeast
infection if that is what she meant.
Paps really hurt me! Badly. I have
never been pregnant, but am pretty sure I
have endometriosis. This causes all
kinds of different pains, but tenderness
and painful paps are just two of them.
The sore boobs could be because you should
be having your period right now. Mine do
that sometimes too.
But you could also be sore if you have bv,
chlamydia (or other std), or a yeast
infection. Or it could also be because
you are going to start your period soon.
I am always more tender at that time.

The dr could tell right away something was
wrong bc they have this new teset they can
do thats kinda expensive and they do the
normal pap and then they also spray a
soltion in u and theres a lil blue light
they insert and then the abnormal tissue
turns a bright white and the other tissue
just stays normal colored.

Fuzzy, they only did a urine test? I was
about 5 weeks preg. When I went to my
doctor and I took a urine test ad it was
negative! I had to take a blood test to
confirm that I actually was....
My doctor said the urine tests they use
are less acurate than h.P.T's! So id geta
blood test

I know I was thinkin the same thing when I
go back to have the other tests done for
the bad pap im gonna see if she'll do a
blood test bc ive been late before but
never more than 2 or 3 days and ive
thought I was preggy before too but ive
never felt like this. But if u guys know
or anything else that could be causing it
or that im not having that would indicate
pregnancy id like to know.
Ttyl ... I hope

So you took a urine test at the doctors
office? You should take an h.P.T their
pretty accurate...And then get a blood
test done at the doctor...

Hotasfrick, they can tell when its
abnormal, they told me right away that it
was abnormal, they just couldn't say what
it was till the tests were done. Turns
out it was clymidea. But yes, they can
tell you right away if things are looking
right down there.

Oh, no I knew that if you had like
chlamydia, yeast, bv or something like
that they could tell. But to actually
say that the tissue is abnormal, that is
determined when pap comes back. Except
for the test that fuzzybuttedmonkey (sorry
I don't know your name!Lol) had. I have
never heard of that! Wow, cool.
Anyway, if you get a blood test and find
out you are not pregnant ask your doc
about endo, etc. Good luck either way!
