Everyone keeps telling me you shouldnt take your baby in public and stuff till' its had its shots. How old do they have to be to get their shots? Cuz I wont have much choice, nathaniel is gonna have to be babysat by many different people while i'm at school.

They get some shots in the hospital. I'm not sure which ones you are talking about though! How long will you have before you have to go back to school? And how are you going to handle the time off?

I take baby up town all the time and shes perfectly healhty... I dont think u hafta wait til they get tehir first shots, I know a lot of abbies that go uptown when they're 2-3 weeks even 5 days old (a lil early but ohj well lol!)

Yeah just keep him bundled up and don't let a bunch of people get all touchy, or their faces in his, he should be fine.

I'll only have about a week...Cuz nathaniel is due christmas day then school goes back about a week after that...

Hunny, u wont b able to go back to school for six weeks. U have to recover before ur doctor will ok you to resume "normal" activity and you wont get ok'ed by the Dr. By then..And trust me, u want feel like it.

You'll need to get ur assignments and stuff ahead of time or send ur mom up there every couple of days to get them and bring them to u and her take them back, but u wont b able to go back to school then.

Yeah, even if you physically could, you need to give your body a chance to get back into its normal cycle and to recouperate.
