Hello, I have a friend who has overdosed on zoloft a couple times and is worried that it may have damaged some nerves and caused a "lobotomy" effect. She has done this a total of 3 times with a good time lapse in between. The first time she doesn't know how many she took, but it may have been at least 1200 mgs. The second time a few months after was 1600 mgs, and the third time at least 3 months after was 750 mgs. It is now over a year later and she hasn't been on any psychiactric meds since.. Does anyone know anything about this? This person also has an underactive thyroid and sometimes unless she mulls over a bad situation several times, is quite numb. She basically complains of lack of emotion sometimes.
