Why are you switching? My Dr. Switched
me to yasmin from ortho lo because my hair
has been falling out bad. There has been
no diff. In side effects, but hair is
still falling out and I am on day 6

I am no Dr. But my cousin's hair used to
fall out a lot and she was not on b/c the
Dr. Finally said it was her nerves, my
aunt(my cousin's mom) can never talk
normally, always has to yell, my cousin
finally moved out, away from her mom and
her hair stopped falling out.
Good luck,
sincerely,
sandy

My hair is fine... Im switching because
my mom works at a doctors office sometimes
and she usually just snags little samples
of the ortho for me so we dont have to pay
the $40 a month for them. One of her
co-workers said that yasmin was pretty
much exactly the same so my mom took some
of those. I know that all pills are
basically the same, but I was just
wondering, mostly, about how it will
affect my period and such, because I love
how light and regular my period is with
ortho. Thats about it. Thanks!

I had no problems with yasmine. It has a
little testosterone in it,so you might
find an increase in your sex drive. That
was why my doc put me on it.I had no
desire. That helped.I have never been on
any of the tri-phasal pills,so I can't
help you there.Good luck.Patty
