Sounds like you are ripening....... Your cervix may be getting softer, making it more comfortable to have sex...... If thats the case..... Dialation isnt far off.....

Once I started dialating it still hurt a lil but after awhile it wouldnt. But id get really bad pains in my stomach. U could be starting to thin out, but only ur doctor can tell

Lol! When I was dialted, it hurt a little more at first but I dont think there was really a big diff... Not sure tho...

It hurts for the first like second, but then stops. Heather, I get really bad pains in my stomach too, but when we switch positions it stops, and it happens alot in certain positions... I think mine might be contractions, because my tummy gets all tight.

I had sex until my 9th month and it was painful for the 1st 8 months and then it got enjoyable in my last month, so you are experiencing what I did during my pregnancy. It was the softening and dilation of my cervix that made sex more enjoyable during the last stage, like "mumof2" said.

My tummy gets tight afterwards then 30mins later itll go back to normal and its really painful. I asked my doctor about that and she said its because we are using muscles in our stomach and thats why it gets all tight. Makes sence I guess..Lol when is ur doc gonna start checking u?

I dunno, I think im gonna tell him about all the contractions that I get, that are 10 minutes apart for a couple hours, and then go away... Im gonna tell him I wanna know if im starting to efface and dialate. The nurse told me not at my last appt, but the one before, to be prepared to be checked, and then he never did at the following appt. I get my u/s on tuesday, and I get to see him too... So maybe I will find out on tuesday. This may sound kinda strange, but when I wipe after I go to the bathroom, it doesnt feel like how it used to down there... I mean, like it used to be all almost puffy feeling, now it feels like I actually got a hole there. Lol that probably sounds really..Yea....

Probably I kno when I was preg I wanted it like 24/7! So it wasnt ever really painful 4 me!

I knew I was dialating once I started wiping mucus that was different colors than normal that and when my doctor told me. Trust me ive been having tons of contractions and im still at 2cm! It takes a long a$$ time so it seems to dialate more and more. Just ask him to check you, and if he says no tell him u want to know because u havent been feeling right lol I dunno. Good luck! I noticed wiping felt weird once I lost the "plug" part of my mucus plug...Looked like a blackish brown old clot of blood(tmi) and after that it felt like it was empty up there. So hopefully your doc will do somethin soon eh?
