I have a prob. Hoping someone can help me! While sitting at the computer my whole back starts to hurt & then outta nowhere under my ribcage(both sides) starts to hurt. I know when your doctor does a complete exam/physical he/she presses under the ribcage to see if there is any pain! What is it that they are pressing on, why do they do it, and how serious is it if it starts to hurt there Crying or Very sad ?

I was told that it was organs & they were checking for inflamation, the person that told me that was not 100% sure though:?!

I don't know... Why don't you call your doctor and ask him? Good luck!
