My wife and I are trying to get pregnant.
Last month we misscalculated the ovulation
time. This month we feel confident that
we got it right. 8th aug.-11th. The 11th
being ovulation day. We had intercourse
on the 8th. She is due to start(or not)
her period on the 25th. Tuesday of this
week she had her annual pap and was
tested(urine) which was neg. Then on
thursday she was tested again neg. As
well. Then today....She told me that she
felt very wet....Like af was there, or
ovulation cm....She said it was clear.
Could this be a poss. Sign???? :d
.....So far this is the first unusual sign
that we have noticed....

When ttc your best bet is to have sex
every other day (gives your sperma chance
to build back up, rather than everyday)
start around day 7 or after her period is
finished (although rare some women do
ovulate right around their period)
by having sex every other day, there
should be sperm hanging round even if you
don't actually have sex on ovulation
day.
But it does seem that the harder you try
the less likely it will be.
So best of all have good sex and if one of
you isn't interested that day, so be it,
don't push it, just enjoy it.

She might be pregnant and the tests are
just not picking up her hcg levels, I got
negatives before my missed period but
about a week after my missed period, I got
a positive! I think its best to test
after she misses her period.

Sounds like you guys are charting, if you
are, I recommend (highly) www.Fertilityfriend.Com (it was suggested to me by another user)
anyway it is great, i've been charting,
taking my temp, and when I plugged in my
last month's data it seems I ovulated 4
days earlier than I expected! Which means
even though I thought we were having sex
at our optimum days we were actually
late!
And there's a lot of good information on
the site. To answer your question about
the possibility of ovulation cm being a
sign, they said (based on analyzing
thousands of charts) that the only clear
charting symptoms of pregnancy is an
elevated temperature at least 18 days
post-ovulation...Or a positve hpt!

Lol don't I know about the raised temp,
since I got pregnant I have been
soooooooooooo hot, sometimes even to the
point of feeling ill - fortunately my nice
boss lets me have a fan on the customer
service desk

Hi stephned,
hope you're not giving your loving wife
too much pressure. Pls remember you 2
are working towards the same goal. It's
not her (nor yours) fault for her not
becoming pregnant. You would never
understand how a woman be that
disappointed when her period comes while
she's expecting herself to be preg. I
heart was in the bottom of a valley when
that happened to me.

Af was due to start on the 24th!! Tested
on the 25th....Still neg.! Going to test
again in the a.M......Is this normal? To
be 2 days late and still be neg.?

It might not show up for a week or so
after she is late...Just hang in there.
