Hi. My doctor gave me 3 month supply of the patch and I may have accedently put one on for the 4th week, which is the week that I shouldn't be wearing the patch. When I counted my patch there were five left so I think I used an extra. But the sad thing is I can't remember if this is my forth week or my thrid, and I lost a patch somewhere. Anyways I just realized this midweek and I was wondering if this extra patch will somehow get me pregenat? Thanks.

Hello! I'm not a doctor but I think you will be fine. It should stop you from getting your period this month. You should probably call your doctor. They probably will suggest that you go ahead and put the patch on for the next two weeks. Then take it off for a week so you can get your period. If you have your patch on correctly you should not have to worry about getting pregnant.

Yeah, it is perfectly fine to skip your period as long as you let yourself have one every three months. So, just take the other three patches and then take a week off. You will be fine. You may have breakthrough bleeding and some cramping, but other than that you should be just fine.
