Q: High Risk Or Low Anyone Reply Pleaseeee

Hi, about a week ago I had sex with a call-in prostitute. I did use protection, I recieved oral (proctected) and just basic - regular sex nothing rough, condom was intact nothing broke or leaked(not sure).

Anyone that had this type of experience please reply and tell me what risk i'm at ..

And this is the only sex I had in the pass last 12 months

Well,having sex with a prostitute is considered high risk.Even with a barrier,i would get tested.Masturbation is much healtier and less stressful.Good luck.Patty

Estimated Risk

First, you have to wait for about 6 months until after the exposure to see if you caught hiv/aids. It takes that long to affect your immune system.
So they can't even test you for 6 months anyway. Put a note in your calendar.

I hate to disagree with patty, but you are relatively low risk of catching hiv/aids.
The odds are about a 500,000 to one that caught anything, but remember the odds get higher the more often you take a chance.
Prostitutes are higher risk, especially if they are intervenous drug users, or careless about using a condom. You have to consider the risks every time you meet one.
And as I said the odds get higher and higher the more often you take a chance.
