I am 18 years old and I am attending my first year in a community college. I think that I am pregnant. My parents are very streaked. I don't know if I should aboard my child or just tell my parents. My boyfriend and I are the only ones that know. I have a little time before the embryo gets to big. I forgot to mention that I play basketball. I am on a scholarship. This is the biggest mistake and or situation that I have ever encountered in my life. Surprised

Babies Are a Blessing
You should keep your baby or give it to a loving family. The baby is here for a reason, even if you feel you can't raise it.

I hope you make the right choice.

Good luck,

Hey Chynadoll
Hey chynadoll
you need to to talk more to your boyfriend about this... What ever you decide, it's going to have to be a mutual agreement. I truly think you should tell you parents even if you decide not to keep the baby. If you do abort it, it's going to be hard on you physically and mentally and I think the best people to help you out are your parents and you boyfriend. It going to be hard on him too. I wish you the best of luck.....Keep us posted.....

Just wanted to drop a line to say that this decision is one that should include your bf's input and support. Although I must agree with babypassion and say you should tell your parents either way... Incase something were to go wrong. Either way if you ever need to talk just pm me and i'll be here to listen.

(((hugs))))

Do not take opinions of others. Do what you think you need to do. I have been in your situation. Don't feel guilty no matter your decision.

No one can make this decision for you. If you decide that it is the best thing for you then by all means do it. However weight out the pro's and con's of each and be sure to discuss it with family and your boyfriend as you will need their support. Would you consider adoption? Or is that not an option? I am against abortion but if you feel comfortable doing it and you can live happily afterwards then go with your heart darling!
Much love

Abortion/pregnancy
I thank everyone for there input. I have read each and every one of them. Although my boyfriend and I are not ready to take of a child, I found out that I wasn't pregnant. I went to the doctor office after I posted this subject, and was told that I wasn't pregant. It was a close call, but it made me learn so much. I learned that no matter how long that you know a person or how much you love a person always protect yourself. The condom did break after his ejacalation. That's why I thought I was. Now I am on the birth control patch and everything is back to normal. Thanks to you all

Not the Baby's Fault!
How you could look at an innocent, brand new life as a mistake I don't know. I do realize that it is very scary, as I have been through it once when I was 15 and terribly naive as to what being pregnant entailed. But I sucked it up - I loved that baby too much to give up on it for my own selfish reasons! (she is 4.5 now and absolutely a gift from god!) after all...It isn't the baby's fault that you and your boyfriend weren't careful, or maybe just not careful enough. Sorry if this sounds very harsh, but under the given circumstances, I can't see you making a very good argument that would make abortion seem like the 'right' choice. Abortion is very rarely the "solution", and it is always ending a life that you are responsible for. Sad
