My 20 year old daughter has problems with her period.

Started pills at 18. No problem. Periods on time, everything normal.

Pap 19, same pill, pap normal, but started spotting about a week before the sugar pill. Only spotted like two days. Then started normal period on sugar pills. Period only lasted 4 days.

Pap 20, with my ob/gyn. Different pill. Again pap normal. But she did tell us both (at separate times) that she spots after intercourse for a few hours or a day at most. This last period she started one week before the sugar pills and didn't stop until 3 days after she was back on the real bc pills.

My doctor said not to worry. She has a tilted uterus and some women just have a really hard time with the pill.

Any advise or assurance would be appreciated.

Maybe her hormone levels have changed so that the hormones in the pill needs to be changed to cooperate. Maybe a different pills should be tried with diffrent levels or hormones. That's usually what the problem is when spotting occurs.
