Hi everyone. I am new here and I am having some strange symptoms and wondering if they could indicate something serious. I had a baby 10 months ago and noticed pelvic floor prolapses including rectocele. My poop is narrower than before (i think) - I mean it is smaller - like the size of a fat magic marker instead of the size of a quarter. I also have abdominal bloating that comes and goes but really irritaites me. So far, anti gas meds do not help much, but I pass gas pretty regularly. On an x-ray, there was a lot of gas in my stomach, colon, and rectum. Those are the only symptoms I have - no pain or anything, no tarry stools, no bleeding. I do sometimes feel like I haven't emptied completely when I have emptied mostly (a suppository yields little results). Anyway, does this sound like colon cancer to those of you who have experience in dealing with colon cancer? I have also noticed these little flutters predominantly on my left side lately (but sometimes on my right side too) - they almost feel like a baby kicking (i'm not pregnant) or a muscle spasm. They happen between my pelvic bone and my rib cage - just about dead center of those two.

Please, someone???

I don't think it is colon cancer. Normal symptoms for that would be: dark blood in stool, mucus in stool, slowing of bowel movements, lower abdominal pain, vomiting, fever, light headed, fatigued, etc.

It may be gas that you have, or if you want to talk to the doc, he me say it is irritible bowel syndrome

good luck, and keep us updated!
