Hi - can anyone out there point me to some resources regarding the safety of taking birth control pills as a patient with primary sjogrens?

Contraceptive pill interactions with corticosteroids

If you take corticosteroids (Hydrocortisone, Prednisone and Prednisolone), you should know that steroids do not decrease the contraceptive pills' effectiveness. However, contraceptive pills increase steroid's effectivnes so a reduction of the steroid dose may be required.
