Q: Charting & Ovulation

I've been charting for 6 months and this is my second month ttc. Before that I had an iud, had that removed and starting noticing I had ovulation cramps. Last month there were no cramps but there was a temp shift. This month there were cramps but the day of my temp shift, which is supposed to mean I ovulated the day before!?!

Just wondering if anyone else who's charting has noticed a discrepancy like this.

Hope This Helps...
Hi! I too am charting my temps everyday. This doesnt necessarily mean you ovulated the day before... Do you record your info on paper? I use Fertilityfriend.Com and helps alot to take everthing into consideration to tell you the exact day you ovulated. It also helps to give you input on your cycle whether its normal...Like your luteal phase and temperature ranges. I have found it very helpful and the guides on the website are very helpful with any questions you might have too. I just thought i'd let you know about this since you are ttc. It has helped me alot. Take care! God bless!! Baby dust!! ~steph~

Thanks!
I'd visited fertilityfriend months before we started ttc and I even tried it for a trial period and found the interface really unfriendly...But looks like they've made some changes, i've just come back from signing up and when I get home tonight i'm going to input my charts. I also read over some of their literature and they say that ovulation cramps may not happen at the exact time of ovulation...Anyway we did the deed Smile every other day for that whole period, so here's keeping our fingers crossed!
