Acne Caused By Birth Control Posted: 08-17-04 13:35pm


I started my birthcontrol (ovral) about 2 months ago and for some reason I have been breaking out in pimples. I have had pimples before but not this many. You will have to switch to a pill that your body responds to. A pill that helps some with acne may make it worse for you. Ortho try cyclen is suppose to help with acne, but it made mine worse. Anyway, call your doc and let them know that the pill you are currently on is causing you acne.
