During the inacve pills (which I assume, in your case, are white) you are still protected from getting pregnant so long as you took all the active pills correctly. And yes, you get your period during the inactive pills. I just started mine 2 months ago and I got my period on the 5th inactive pills so don't worry.

How do I start this? I been on the pill for 2 months now and the 1st month my period was alittle unregular and on sunday ( aug 22nd) I started on the white pills and don't have my period yet. Now my boyfriend and I had sex twice and he came in me... Okay I called up my planned parenthood and I asked them about coming in and getting the morning after pill on the times my bf came in me. And they told me not to worry about it and I will be fine. Now i'm thinking I should have told them I wanted to go in. I'm not sure when I should get my period next. But i'm freaking out and scared. My boyfriend said it could just be stress from work and starting worry that is causing imy period to be late, which is true. And also the last time I had my period I know that it went into the 1st week of august. So maybe i'm worrying for nothing but i'm scared and I know my boyfriend is too. Am I answering my own questions here? Or am I just trying to find excuses? Any comments would help alot. Thanks

I would say that your period has yet to start. You just starte dthe inactive pills this sunday and now it's tuesday, you still have the whole week to start your period. And i'd say unless you had sex during the first week of the first month of your pills then you're completely fine. There's very very very little chance of pregnancy. That and when you start bc pills your period tend to be a little messed up anyway (ie there to much or not there enough) so i'd wait. I'm sure you'll get your period soon and I think you're fine.

Birth control pills are not 100% effective and people get pregnant on them all of the time. Bottom line if you do not want babies then also use condoms.
