Hey how did everyone feel about breastfeeding? I know some tried and couldnt, others just went to the bottle and some I think still do right? Well anyways I was all into breastfeeding because its best and stuff, plus it helps you lose weight faster but im getting cold feet about it. I dont feel like I want to anymore. I mean I do, but the thought of something on my boob freaks me out lol. Im weird I know. But it does! I dont like anything touching my boobs because they are sensative getting bigger. Poor jose is restricted fully from them lol. I feel bad but I kinda dont want to anymore. And I know everyone wants me to, but I dont know. Any thoughts?

Its gunna hurt, but I know you want what is best for her, and I am betting no matter what you deside, when she comes, you will breast feed her. Wink

Well nikki I was all gung ho about breastfeeding and people showed me the horrors of it here on the forum. Lol. Laughing I am still gonna try though, for some reason the thought of an electrical breastpump makes me feel better.

Lol! I was like that at first also... I always saw breasts as a sex object type thing... Something id wear lil shirts to kinda enhance em lol! But now... I just love breastfeeding! I really only planned to breastfeed for like the first 2 weeks to lose the wieght... But now.. It just feels like theres such a close bond! And I love watching her, shes so cute when shes feeding! Theres ups and downs to breastfeeding... It hurts at first in the hospital and sometimes when u get home, the engorging can be a lil sore.. But u'll make it thru that if ur really determined. It doesnt hurt me anymore and I dont get engorged.. I just love it! I never thought id like it so much! I dont know how long im gonna do it for but im soo notready to switch to bottle!
The breast pump is good too but it takes sooooooooo long! It'l take me about 30-45 mins to get 3 1/2 oz. I hate it! Lol! But its good to have around in case u need t drop baby off somewheres... Hopefully u'll breastfeed, it does wonders! Smile even if u bottle feed to tho its still good! Ur baby will be happy either way!

Hey
Yea. I think when it comes down to it, i'd breastfeed. It's just..... Yea, you think of it sexually. Not as a feeding tool.

Hey girl dont sweat it. You will probably still want to try, and when she is here, you wont think of your breasts as sex objects, you will realize breastfeeding is a beautiful and natural thing! It never did hurt for me! Except engorgment, but you have that whether you breatfeed or not. I think you might want to try it, maybe for 2 weeks, and if you don't like it then give it up. But give it a chance.

See whats weird is I dont really see them as sex objects anymore either lol. When jose tries to grab them or look at them (sorry tmi) im like ewww dont touch me! These are off limits now! Lol. I used to see them as sex objects and then I thought they were only for breastfeeding and now im scared of that too lol. I hope I change by the time I have her. I just know people will be around like the nurses and stuff and one thing I really hate is being stared at lol. I dont let my fam look at my tummy during the ultrasound cuz she pulls my clothes down to my crotch and im like ahhh!!! Close your eyes! Dont look at me! Lol. I swear im weird. I hated having the pap ( I felt violated lol) and I dont want to go into labor cuz there will be a million people watching and staring at my crotch and I will be helpless trying to poke peoples eyes out lol. My mom says no one will even be paying attention to that but I dont know. I still worry hehe. I swear im weird...

Well one thing is for sure by that time you will be so into getting ready to have that baby, that what they are looking at won't really bother you too much! Haha!! And like tweety said, they aren't looking at your "croch" they are looking for that head!! And sorry, but no one can look at a vagina during birth and think anything sexual of it.. That just looks nasty during that time!! Lmao. Not even your husband would look down there at that moment, and think "mmmm lets get to bed" lol

I sooo know how ya feel! I didnt even want tim to look "down there" in the labour room! I thought ti would be too weird! But I was sooo out of it at the pushing part, I didnt even notice my mom or tim watching the crwoning part and my sis and her fiance I guess came in when I was gettin stitches. But at that point u really dont care. And as for breastfeeding, the nurse is only with u there once... For when she first latches on.. Its kinda weird but they act like its nothin at all... So its not too bad dont worry! But even now and before, I would never even walk around the house in my underwear.. I just feel so weird! But I wouldnt worry too much! In the end... Nothin matters but gettin that baby out! Lol!

Well, I am not pregnant, but I will tell you straight up that I will never ever breastfeed! Uh, uh nothin will be suckin on this boobie! That is why they make formula. Just me though, there is nothing wrong with breastfeeding, it is actually very natural and healthy, but I just won't be doing it.

It will hurt, but it is the best thing for the baby. I breastfeed both of my children. I brestfeed my daughter for about 2 weeks and the reason why was because my sisters had the chicken pox. She never got them, the doctor said that since I brestfeed durning the time that they had the pox, she had some of my imunity form my brestmilk. And I brestfeed my son for a month and I started working so I had stoped. Good luck with your decision and what ever you chose will be great for the both of you. I am sure
