Hello all,
has anyone on the board had any success finding a non-surgical treatment for nasal polyps? I've suffered with this condition for years and would like to try and avoid surgery if necessary. Actually I just recently learned what nasal polyps were. I've been somewhat ignorant to the condition, but now i'm trying to learn all I can in order to get relief. I have swollen sinus passage...Due to the polyps. I have an appt with my ent, but can get into see him until the end of oct. I must get some sleep....My nose is closed and I can't breath...Please help !

Thanks in advance !

Nasal Polyps
Homeopathy has good medicines to see that the congestion of the sinuses is relieved thereby symptoms like nasal blocking and heaviness of head come down. It can also desensitize against allergens and see that such symptoms do not occur again. You can get cured before reaching your ent.Consult a homeopath.

About Polyps
Shocked

i have had 5 sinus surgeries due to blocked nasal passages and improper drainage. On the last 2, I had so many polyps, or as the ent said, "gobs and gobs of them". In the last 5 years (i am 39 now), I have developed multiple allergies and a problem with the polyps.

I was told singulair works great for people who have them recurring, and that it was used to prevent them. Of course with other steroid nose sprays and treatment for your allergies. But once you have them, surgery is the only way to remove them and unblock your passages.

I must say I trust my ent completely. She is best thing that has happened to me to help with my chronic sinus trouble/allergies.

Hi darlene!
I was wondering what you did about your polyps?
I've had 16 sinus surgeries so I know all to well the discomfort of that!
I'd like to know how you're doing!

Recurring Nasal Polyps In Small Child
Can anyone direct me to a source of help? My daughter has had two surgeries for nasal polyps. At first they thought it was her adenoids, which were removed and while they were removing her adenoids, they found a polyp. She has had another polyp removed since. She suffers from allergies and possible asthma.
