Hi...I have a question about my birth
control method and cycle. I am on
cyclessa and was supposed to start my
period a week ago but instead there was
only a tiny amount of pink-colored
discharge (sorry if too much
information!). So, I did not consider
this a normal period and am now worried.
I have been on bc for over a year now and
always take my pills on time (except for a
few hours late about 3 times the last
month). I had other symptoms before my
period, such as frequent urination, breast
tenderness, all that. But I am still
worried because my period was not normal.
Then again, i've heard that low estrogen
level pills can make your period very
light. Has anyone else experienced this
or does anyone have any advice? I am
really scared right now and cannot begin
to think about possibly being pregnant.
Hopefully some of you can calm my worries.
Thanks.

Hi there!Sometimes your periods become
almost nonexistant on the pill.If this
continues and it bothers you not to have a
period, call your doc.If you think that you
might be pregnant,get testedsometimes
switching pills can help to have a more
noticeable period.This happened to me
several years ago and my doc laughed and
asked if I missed it so much that I needed
to see it!(i've known him for years,it's
how we joke around).Good luck to you!Patty
