Lol! Not me! But danica.
I was worried bout the spittin up but she seems fine now after a couple feedings and hasnt spit up... But as I was lookin for info on that, I stumbled across the topic of newborns and diarrhea and I realized that danica's had that for a couple days now. Im pretty sure its diarrhea. Her stools arent even stools at all, its just watery (sorry tmi) but im gettin a lil worried cuz she has about 6-7 "bowel movements" a day and im not sure if her stools are sposed to be hard or if they're sposed to be watery like? Im breastfeeding so I dontknow if that has anything to do with it. I checked and she doesnt have a fever... So im not sure??? Thanx girls... I know I ask a lot of questins, im just a worrier lol!

Hey shauna,

I just asked my friend who has 3 kids all under 5 and breastfed all of them. Her moto is if there isnt blood it isnt a tragedy lol.

She says dont be too concerned if there is no fever and she isnt being sick. Plus dont let her become dehydrated.

Remember mother knows best, dont be afraid to ask your doctor.

Love sooz

I keep reading that breastfed baby's stools aren't realy stools - more of a puddle, which apparently is good and helps their digestive systems.
So the books say the formula fed baby has harder stools and is more prone to constipation.
Now i've not had mine yet and could be wrong, but sounds to me like she is doing great, but if you are worried give your doc/midwife/mum/aunty a call and see what they say - often best to see what others did at same age.
But i'd guess at if she looks well, feeds well, and puts on weight then you're definately doing things right.
