Keep in mind though, if you get the shot most women do not get their period. Just a warning so if you do get it, you don't flip out next month! Smile good luck!

Well at planned parenthood in california (not sure where you are??) they will give you the shot if thats what you would rather have and im sure for that very reason, so your parents wont find the pills. Or some people would just rather have the shot. Most shots last 3 mths then you have to go back and get a another one. Good luck.

Anywho, keep in mind that if you do get depo, you are stuck with it for the three months. Very few women get good results with depo. Yes, some will not get their period (so if you are one of those people don't worry, like the above post said) but, most women bleed constantly. I only know one person who is on depo who has a normal cycle. The rest bleed the whole time and eventually quit getting the shot.
