Hmm, I might be a guy but I think I can offer some suggestions. A quick question though. Who is his favorite band/musical artist?

When he gets moved in cook him a nice candle lit dinner. Make chocolate covered strawberries and put them on his bed with a note that says, "here are some strawberries and if you want the cream you have to catch me!" or something corny like that. Corny, but cute and I guarantee you two will be running around that place and wrestling. and we all know what that will lead to. Lol.

Thats a good idea angie. Or you could do something spontaneous like show up with pizza and champagne while he's in the middle of moving, or take him on a picnic somewhere secluded with no people around...

Erin's idea may be better, because if you want to do mine, you may want to wait until he is already moved in. But you could do erin's while he is moving in which I think is what you wanted. Hey, now you have two things, one for now and one for later

Oh yeah or if he doesnt have furniture moved in yet, then put a blanket on the floor with some pizzas and sodas and have a little picnic. Maybe strawberries and ice cream for desert, (im making myself hungry lol) or if you want to buy him things to decorate his house, like a nice dishrack, soap, cups, things like that. Like a welcome basket with those things and maybe a movie and a pillow. Im sure he will love it.

I was going to suggest to help signify the place as his, a framed rare poster of his favorite musician. Probably wouldn't expect you to buy something like that for him, so he'll get a pleasant surpise, plus he can look at the poster, not only thinking of you, but also he will think, "this is my apartment" and feel good about it.

One of my ex boyfriends was really into icp and when he moved into his apartment....I bought was on those throw blankets with pictures on them for him. Of course it had icp on it. He had it thrown over the back of his couch the last time I was there. It made his apartment more personal I guess you could say.
